Casual Sales Assistant - Wellington

LUSH Old Bank are looking for a passionate, sales focused sales assistant to join their friendly and experienced team!

The Role

Join the LUSH Old Bank team, and become a key player in a supportive environment where teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving are valued. As part of our team, you'll work alongside passionate individuals, share ideas, and contribute to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

 As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of LUSH and help to spread the love of our products to each customer who walks in the door. Casual team members can expect to receive varied numbers of hours week by week, adapting to the needs of the business.  

The team are looking for candidates who are hard working and reliable, love to work in a team and take pride in going above and beyond for customers, with a willingness to learn and grow as the successful candidate will be offered training and support to reach their full potential! This is the perfect role for anyone who is wanting to develop their customer service skills and learn about all of the amazing LUSH products we have to offer.

Core Responsibilities

• Having genuine enthusiasm when serving customers and displaying the highest level of LUSH customer service.

• Taking customers on interactive store tours and finding them the perfect products.

• Demonstrating products and creating experiences with customers.

• Maintaining thorough product knowledge, referring to key ingredients and describing their benefits with confidence.

• Assisting with other stock or sales related tasks when needed - we work as a team!

• Previous retail experience will be highly advantageous.

• Has flexible availability to meet the needs of the store. 

• Is a genuine people-person, and loves to help others.

• Has a strong ethical compass and is passionate about our brand values.

• Is a fast learner and wants to soak up knowledge about all things LUSH!
