The role

As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of LUSH and help to spread the love of our products to each customer who walks in the door. This role is a temporary casual position for the Christmas 2023 period. Christmas team members can expect to receive varied numbers of hours week by week, adapting to the needs of the business. Hours will vary, but must be available to work all of December.

The Christchurch team are experienced and supportive, and maintain a strong training and development culture within their team. We are looking for vibrant, go getters, who are ready to dive in and serve our customers at our peak period. We are wanting passionate people who are confident communicators and advocates for our products. We are looking for people who take direction well, can confidently give and receive feedback, and are problem solvers. At Christmas, no two days are the same!

Core Responsibilities

• Having genuine enthusiasm when serving customers and displaying the highest level of LUSH customer service.

• Taking customers on interactive store tours and finding them the perfect products.

• Demonstrating products and creating experiences with customers.

• Maintaining thorough product knowledge, referring to key ingredients and describing their benefits with confidence.

• Assisting with other stock or sales related tasks when needed - we work as a team!

• Has flexible availability to meet the needs of the business (minimum 3 full days per week for potential shifts), including on public holidays. 

• Is a genuine people-person, and loves to help others.

• Has a strong ethical compass and is passionate about our brand values.

• Is a fast learner and wants to soak up knowledge about all things LUSH!
