The role

As a Sales Assistant in our Queen St Store, you will be the face of LUSH and help to spread the love of our products to each customer who walks in the door. This role is a part time position working 25 hours per week with availability needed 3 days per week plus one weekend day.

LUSH Queen St offers a fun and exciting team environment with ongoing training and personal development, this is a great opportunity to grow your sales skills!

We are looking for high energy candidates who are customer focused and have an eagerness to make friends with lots of strangers every day! Our products are weird and wonderful and often require explanation and demonstration, so we prefer to work with people who find joy in engaging with people. We take pride in being entertainers almost as much as salespeople. Given that our products are so intertwined with our ethics, having a passion for equality and sustainability is a must. Successful applicants will be constantly looking to learn, improve, and grow.

Core Responsibilities

  • Having genuine enthusiasm when serving customers and displaying the highest level of LUSH customer service.

  • Taking customers on interactive store tours and finding them the perfect products.

  • Demonstrating products and creating experiences with customers.

  • Maintaining thorough product knowledge, referring to key ingredients and describing their benefits with confidence.

  • Assisting with other stock or sales related tasks when needed - we work as a team!
