Lush Dunedin is looking for a passionate, sales-driven Store Manager to lead their team! A well-established brand internationally but also well-loved by loyal locals, Lush Dunedin is where customers come in for their favorite "treat yourself" products!

The successful candidate will be leading an experienced team of brand ambassadors, connecting with customers whom share our passion for ethics and great products! The Role

As a LUSH Store Manager, you are responsible for driving sales, creating a culture of development and ensuring that your store is upholding our strong ethical beliefs and practices. This role is a blend of people, process and sales management. 

The successful candidate will lead by example, be passionate about driving sales, and have an excellent ability to maintain policies and procedures.  You will also need flexible full-time availability to meet the needs of the business, with regular RDOs on Sunday and Monday. 

The ideal candidate for this position has experience in management and leadership, has a passion for great customer experience, strong business-building acumen, innovative in how they drive sales performance as a team. They should also be strong communicators and is confident in feedback and development conversations to the team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Motivating, growing and developing staff into a high performance team.

  • Working with your Trainee Manager and Supervisors to create a strong leadership team in-store. 

  • Driving sales, achieving targets and financial goals.

  • Contributing to a positive culture where customers are prioritised.

  • Supporting staff with career development through targeted training, goal setting and regular appraisals.

  • Training all staff on customer service, company history, product knowledge, and company policy and procedures.

  • Planning and delivering schedules within set wage budgets.

  • Maintaining a high standard of store presentation.

  • Ensuring stock management procedures are adhered to.

  • Helping to create a fun and dynamic shop atmosphere.

  • Assisting with other tasks when needed - we work as a team!
